Meet your new go to for a fast overview of student attendance data. With the new dashboard, you have three new attendance reports and can view the data either as an institution, aggregated into a subset of campuses, or by individual campus.

Absent Students Now

You asked; we delivered. While using the Live Attendance view to click into the card for an active course and make edits has been useful, many of our users have asked for a way to see a listing of all students who are missing their class.

Now you can bookmark and view a report of all absent students right inside of CourseKey, with the option to download the reports to save for later. We know intervention is huge for our users, so we wanted to make it easier for you to identify which students need outreach and keep a tighter pulse on which new students are missing at the beginning of a cohort.

Attendance Information for Active Courses

One of our biggest requests for the last year has been for the ability to filter students by their course attendance percentages. This report will allow you to sort your students by name, course, attended percentage, or absent percentage.

Additionally, you’ll be able to set upper and lower limit thresholds to filter down further. For instance, if your school requires 70% attendance in its courses, you can now identify all students who presently are at or below 70% attendance to strategize outreach efforts.

Total Check-Ins by School

As the name of the report implies, we now let you see how many CourseKey check-ins have happened on your campuses since day one of implementation. We made this special report for our partner schools who are expanding, whether through their initial roll out or by adding CourseKey to new campuses. If you’re fully rolled out, you can still have fun watching the number climb.

If you’ve never experimented with CourseKey attendance before, you can find an overview of the benefits here. If you want to have a more in depth discussion about how CourseKey attendance reports could impact your institution, request a demo and we’ll be in touch to chat more in depth.
